This Expression of Interest (EOI) request is issued by the Stellenbosch Municipality (the Municipality) to solicit information and interest in respect of the Municipality’s intent to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) under the Stellenbosch Municipality Independent Power Producer and Battery Energy Storage Procurement Programme (STMIPPPP). The Municipality in its Integrated Development Plan (IDP) has identified the need to increase its energy resilience and has identified the procurement and buying of electricity derived from renewable energy sources from one or more Independent Power Producers (IPPs) as a key priority.
