We’ve had a long, dry summer and it isn’t letting up. Thankfully, the wetter winter months are still ahead, and we’re hopeful for good rainfall. 🌧️

In the meantime, let’s all do our part to use water sparingly and bring down our usage wherever we can. Every drop counts! πŸ’§πŸ™

Welcome

Stellenbosch lies roughly 50 km to the east of Cape Town and is - after the Mother City - the oldest town in South Africa.

The 900 square kilometres municipal area is internationally renowned for its beautiful environment, many places of interest, wine farms, street cafes, restaurants, quality wines, historical buildings and excellent educational institutions.

The major portion of the area is utilised for agriculture (mainly wine production) and it includes the major towns of Stellenbosch and Franschhoek as well as settlements such as Klapmuts, Koelenhof, Kylemore, Johannesdal, Pniel, Kayamandi, Cloetesville, Ida’s Valley, Jamestown and Raithby.
