TENDER FOR BSM 72/25: UPGRADING OF 146 MUNICIPAL RENTAL FLATS IN KAYAMANDI

CLOSING DATE:    31 March 2025

CLOSING TIME:     12:00: Bids will be opened in the Council Chambers or Supply Chain Management Boardroom.

CIDB: The following CIDB class for construction work, in accordance with the total amount tendered or value determined in accordance with regulation 25 (7A) of the Construction Industry Development Board, Regulations, 2004 (as amended) on 23 May 2019, will apply to the bid. Tenderers must have an estimated CIDB contractor rating of at least 6GB. or higher. If intending to subcontract, the electrical part of the tender, CIDB rating of 4EB is required. If not subcontracted, the tenderer must have a 6GB or higher, and 4EB higher. (Also submit the CIDB certificates of the subcontractor with the tender document)

A Compulsory Clarification Meeting will be held on 11 March 2025 at 10:00. Tenderers are requested to meet in front of Stellenbosch Town Hall at 10:00, where the attendance registration will be taken, and thereafter an escort will be provided to the meeting venue which will be held at Block L, corner of 10th Avenue & 13th Avenue, Kayamandi, Stellenbosch, 33°55’13.8”S 18°50’54.3”E. Tenderers who fail to attend the compulsory information session will be regarded as non-compliant.
