Your Guide to Development Management

The zoning scheme operationalises the strategic vision of the Municipal Spatial Development Framework (MSDF) at the cadastral level. It precisely defines the spectrum of development rights and conditions applicable to specific locations, ensuring all development aligns with the municipality’s strategic objectives.

The Land Use Management (LUM) Office is responsible for granting and managing land use rights and related permissions, thereby driving the strategic development agenda. Concurrently, the Building Development Management (BDM) Office regulates the physical construction of building structures in line with those authorised rights. The review and approval of building plans for individual properties are essential to verify both the structural integrity of the construction and adherence to established land use rights and development conditions.
