Normal recycling / refuse removal will take place on Wednesday, 1 May 2024 and Wednesday, 29 May 2024.

As we commemorate Worker’s Day tomorrow, I extend my warmest greetings and heartfelt appreciation to each and every member of our vibrant community.

Worker’s Day is a time to recognise the efforts of all individuals who contribute to the prosperity and well-being of our beloved towns. From the bustling streets to the tranquil vineyards, it is your hard work and partnership with the municipality that keeps Stellenbosch thriving.

Water Alerts 💧

There is a water pipe burst in Dirkie Uys Street near Wes-eind Primary School, Franschhoek. Technicians are on site at present tending to the repair. A water tanker has been dispatched to the area in the interim.

The Municipality is aware of the unplanned water outage affecting Rooi Street, Kylemore. Teams are on site to restore supply. Estimated time of reinstatement is 14:00 today, 30 April 2024. Water will be available from a roaming water tanker.
