As part of our community safety efforts, we will be conducting an Ammonia Emergency Exercise at the Distell Adam Tas Production site tomorrow, 9 December 2021. The exercise is aimed at testing and improving emergency preparedness for all emergency departments in the event that an emergency involving ammonia occurs. The emergency drills take place annually at various sites around the Stellenbosch Municipality. They are aimed at testing and improving the emergency preparedness of all emergency departments in the Stellenbosch area, through the participation and practice of various types of evacuations and emergency scenarios to ensure preparedness in the event of an actual emergency.
