PROCESSING OF CONSENT USE APPLICATIONS FOR EVENTS IN THE STELLENBOSCH MUNICIPAL AREA (WC024) In an effort to simplify the application process for consent use for events on agricultural zoned properties, the municipality has introduced an interim measure to expedite the application and approval processes for the upcoming festive season. Events of this nature has a positive contribution in the context of the Cape Winelands Tourism Sector in general and our local economy in particular. The Municipality therefore aims to make the application for consent use as simple as possible, while still adhering to the requirements as set out in the Stellenbosch Land Use Planning Bylaw (2015) and the Stellenbosch Zoning Scheme Bylaw (2019).
