Following a review and amendment process, Council approved on 24 May 2023 vide Item 11.8.1 the new updated Stellenbosch Municipal Land Use Planning By-law 2023. Please note that the By-law was promulgated on 9 June 2023 and will be effective from 1 July 2023. The present Bylaw (2015) will be automatically repealed and replaced with the new By-law (2023) on this date in accordance with Section 99. Please also note the applicable transitional arrangements as contained in Section 99 for any land use applications that may originate from the present By-law and will still be active when the new Bylaw comes into force. ...
