Stellenbosch Citizen App
Stellenbosch Municipality is continuously creating and developing new and innovative ways to give residents easier access to local government functions and processes. That is why we are excited to introduce our new mobile application that will focus on increasing access and opportunities for residents to give input and contribute to the public participation process.
The new Stellenbosch Citizen App will allow residents to submit their inputs on the Draft Budget and Integrated Development Plan (IDP) remotely via cell phone or computer. In this time of lockdown, it is vital that residents still have easy access and opportunity to communicate their needs and priorities to us for inclusion in the final Budget and IDP for the upcoming financial year. This app will allow residents to do just that.
The app is still in its initial phase but all contributions received will be considered and included as part of the public participation process for the IDP and budget. Various features will be added to the app to improve interaction and information sharing as the weeks progress. It is available to download from the Apple App Store, Android and Google stores. It uses very little data and will allow greater access for public participation than ever before.
