TENDER BSM 110/21: REFURBISHMENT OF 11KV SUBSTATION BUILDINGS AND INSTALLATION OF SWITCHGEAR SUPPLIED BY STELLENBOSCH MUNICIPALITY FOR THE PERIOD ENDING 30 JUNE 2024 - ADVERTS ONLY

A Compulsory Clarification Meeting will be held on 9 November 2021 at 10:00 via Microsoft Teams. Prospective tenderers shall register with the Consulting Engineer, Mr. Henk Brand, via e-mail at henk@lyners.co.za and provide the necessary contact details (email address and cell phone number) at least 48 hours prior to the meeting but no later than end of business on 5 November 2021 at 10:00  after which an invite to the virtual compulsory clarification meeting will be sent out. No unregistered persons will be allowed into the meeting and tenderers who fail to attend the compulsory information session will be regarded as non-compliant.

Local production and content are applicable to this bid. Bidders must use the exchange rate published by the South African Reserve Bank (SARB) at 12:00 on 26 October 2021. The guidance document for the calculation of local content is included in the bid document and is also available on the municipality’s website by following the Supply Chain Management link. If raw material or input to be used for a specific item is not available locally, bidders should obtain written authorisation from the dti should there be a need to import such raw material or input. A copy of the authorisation letter must be submitted together with this tender document at the closing date and time of bid. Please note that the requirements in terms of local content are fully obtained in the tender document.

CIDB: Class of Construction Works: 5EP or higher.
